Mr Destiny was created in Nov 2016 in India. It was born out of Madhav's desire to compose his own music,  and find his musical identity. A former jazz saxophone player, Madhav Haridas came to India in 2004 and start to learn intensively Indian Classical music. He learnt Carnatic classical from an Indian saxophone player, then moved to Banaras to study Hindustani classical on bansuri from a master vocalist.

        Living and performing in India, he met musicians form all over the world, and started to go deeper into eastern musics, arabic, african, and balkan musics. 

        Mr Destiny reflects this musical journey of Madhav, and takes you into a universe intimate and full of fire at the same time. Taking from many traditions, it is a new kind of ethno-jazz, where the spirit of devotion of Indian music meets the rhythms of the world.
